Hours after showcasing the Galaxy A7 in the Malaysian market, Samsung has now officially launched the phone in Philippines. According to tech blog YugaTech, the phone will retail for Php24,990 ($555), however there is no word on the exact availability details.
Samsung Galaxy A7 is the company’s thinnest Android phone till date with 6.3mm thickness and comes with a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display. The phone also packs 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, Android 4.4 with TouchWiz UI, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
In addition, Samsung has included microSD card slot, 12MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front shooter, dual-SIM support, NFC and 4G LTE connectivity in the A7. Like other Galaxy A-series phones, Galaxy A7 also sports a metal chassis and looks similar to its A-series cousins.
Earlier today, Samsung had also demoed the A7 at the A-series launch in Malaysia, where it is expected to on sale later this month, however there is no word on the exact pricing or launch date in the country.

$555…this means it’s gonna be priced at more than Rs.35000 in India…There is still kitkat and processor that is being offered is Snapdragon 615 Octacore that is found in Micromax Yu (Rs.8999) and HTC 820(min RS 21000)..
HTC is also offering HTC desire 826 with the same specs and Lollipop…It might be priced less than Rs.30,000..
I doubt Samsung is really having a look at it’s competitors before launching a device…
