HTC on Monday introduced the new Desire 320 smartphone. It will released in the UK market in the coming weeks in White and Gray colour options.

Originally introduced in Canada in October last year, the Desire 320 is an entry-level smartphone and comes with Android 4.4, 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, 4.5-inch FWVGA display and 5MP rear camera. The phone also packs 2100 mAh battery, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.

“Marrying super-fast processing with premium HTC features in a compact form, the HTC Desire 320 delivers a quality experience for the budget conscious well beyond its entry-level model status. Following on from the success of the HTC Desire 310, it boasts enhanced power and memory to enable more people to benefit from a quality smartphone experience that delivers the perfect balance between smart essentials and value” said Peter Frølund, UK and Nordics General Manager, HTC.

There is no word on the pricing at this moment.

So this is basically EXACTLY the same phone as the A1 phones from MMX, Krbn and Spice with reduced RAM (and no software updates) and yet will be priced at a premium. Oh well. HTC and their delusions of grandeur LOLz. 😀
