As you would remember that we recently reported that LG might unveil the G Flex successor at the next week’s CES 2015 trade fair and the same has now been confirmed via a banner on the show floor in Las Vegas.

Spotted by the folks at The Verge, this LG banner clearly shows the upcoming G Flex 2 smartphone and confirms the impending announcement.

No details have been revealed by the LG banner, but a recent report had suggested that the phone will come with Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop, and Tri-band LTE-A connectivity support. Other specifications are a mystery at this point, but we hope to see an official announcement in the next 24-48 hours. The phone is expected to be initially launched on Korean telecom operator LG U Plus along with the telco’s Tri-band LTE-A network.

To remind you, LG G Flex was the first curved screen smartphone from LG and as you can see in the banner, G Flex 2 will also be a curved-screen smartphone.
