Samsung releases Galaxy Alpha limited edition with leather back

Samsung’s first smartphone with metal frame is getting a limited edition variant in France. Unlike the normal variant, which comes with a plastic back, the limited edition will include a leather-back.

The Korean manufacturer will be releasing the limited edition in four versions – brown, grey, blue and burgundy. The latter two will come with an embroidered flower on the bottom-right of the back panel and they are being targeted to the female consumers.

According to Samsung, it will be producing only 100 units of each version and they will cost 649 euros, 80 euros more than the normal variant.

The specifications of the limited edition remain same as the normal retail version, which comes with 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 1.8GHz octa-core Exynos processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 12MP rear camera and 2.1MP front shooter.
