Weeks after the Wi-Fi only variant of the Nexus 9 tablet went on the sale in the United States, Google has launched the 4G LTE version in the country. The tablet is now available via T-Mobile (online, no word store debut) and Google Play.

While T-Mobile will begin shipping the Nexus 9 LTE immediately, Google Play is going to start the same on December 19, which is about a week away.  The tablet costs $599 on Google Play, but you can get it for $0 down (and $24.99 for 24 months, FRP: $599.76 ) from T-Mobile.

T-Mobile is the first US telco to offer the Nexus 9 LTE and there is no word on when other carriers plan to do the same.

The HTC-built Google Nexus 9 LTE features an 8.9-inch 2048x1536p display, dual-core Tegra K1 64-bit processor, 6700 mAh battery, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and Android 5.0. The tablet also packs 8MP rear camera, 1.6MP front shooter and front-facing stereo speakers.
