Samsung is reportedly working on a new E-series of smartphones, which will be released next year. According to SamMobile, the E-series will initially include E5 and E7 smartphones and the publication has revealed the alleged specifications of these two phones.
SamMobile notes that Samsung Galaxy E7 and E5 will be mid-range devices and come with Super AMOLED displays, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 5MP front shooter and Android 5.0.
Other specifications of the Galaxy E7 will include 5.5-inch screen, 13MP rear camera, and 2950 mAh battery. On the other hand, E5 will pack 5-inch display, 8MP rear camera and 2300 mAh battery. Both phones will include non-removable batteries and be sport a thin chassis (6.9mm in E5 and 7.2mm in E7).
There is no word on the pricing or exact availability details at this point.
Samsung Galaxy A7 specs
In related news, the alleged specifications of Galaxy A7 smartphone have also been leaked by SamMobile. The smartphone will reportedly come with 5.5-inch full HD display, 1.8GHz Exynos 5433 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 2600 mAh battery. The phone will also pack 13MP rear camera, Android 4.4, 5MP front shooter and 16GB of internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy A7 has already been revealed to be the company’s thinnest smartphone till date with 6.3mm chassis. There is still now confirmation on the release of A7.
