Micromax on Monday unveiled a new Android smartphone, which is targeted to the selfie-lovers and sports a 13MP front shooter. Dubbed as Micromax Canvas Selfie, the new smartphone will go on sale in the second-week of January 2015.

Coming to the specifications, the smartphone features a 4.7-inch 720p HD display, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4, and dual-SIM support. The phone also packs 1.7GHz octa-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 2300 mAh battery and 13MP rear camera with LED flash.

In addition, Micromax has included a number of software tweaks on the phone, which will help you in beautifing the selfies like eye enhancement, face slimming, skin smoothening, teeth whitening, remove oil, fade dark circles, and make-up.

There is no word on the pricing at this point, which will revealed close to the actual release.
