Motorola has also revealed it will release Moto 360 with slim bands in time for the holidays. The slim bands will be available in light metal ($299) as well as a new champagne gold finish ($329).
In addition, Motorola is bringing new accessory bands for the existing Moto 360 users in stone, black and cognac leather as well as light and dark metal. The company has also partnered with M4DE program, DODOcase and TYLT for more band options.
Software update
In addition to more choice in terms of the watch band, Motorola has also stated that is planning to release a software update for the Moto 360 watch, which will add new watch faces.
“Choose from new watch face designs or even create your own. The new My Design watch face option allows you to customize everything from the background image to the style of the tick marks and watch hands. We’ve also added the watch face created by the winner of our Moto 360 Design Face-Off,” Motorola noted on its blog.
Along with the watch faces, the update will bring new wellness features like Moto Body, which will provide new fitness goals based on the collected fitness data.
The update will be released in the next few days via the Motorola Connect.
