LG introduces G2 Lite, L Prime Android phones

LG G2 Lite

Expanding its G and L-series yet again, LG has announced the new G2 Lite and L Prime smartphones. Listed on the LG Brazil website right now, both are entry-level smartphones and come with similar specifications. There is no word on the release date or global roll-out plans, but it is possible that the G2 Lite and L Prime might only be released in Brazil or select South American markets.

Coming to the specifications, LG G2 Lite features a 4.5-inch WVGA IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The phone also comes with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot and Android 4.4.

On the other hand, LG L Prime packs a 5-inch IPS WVGA display, 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 4.4.

According to a report in GSM Arena, LG G2 Lite will retail for BRL 615 ($245/€200) and L Prime will get a price-tag of BRL 750 ($265/€210).

Very bad spec, huge pricing.( WVGA display) around 14k.!!
Why L G and HTC are going like this,and how far they can go like this ?
