Chinese smartphone maker Oppo on Wednesday took the wraps of its new N3 smartphone at a press event in Singapore. The new Oppo N3 sports a 5.5-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AA quad-core processor and a 16MP motorised rotating camera.
Like its predecessor, the camera on-board the N3 works both as rear and front cameras and thanks to the new built-in motor, it can be rotated electronically. The consumers can use the sensor present on the back of the phone, OClick 2.0 accessory or the software functions to rotate the camera (or adjust the angle). Oppo has also include several software tweaks, which enable the 16MP camera to take 64MP images.
Among other specifications, the phone packs Android 4.4.4 with Color OS 2.0, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of on-board storage, 4G LTE support, 3000 mAh battery, fingerprint scanner and dual-SIM connectivity.
According to Oppo, N3 has been priced at $649 and will go on sale in 20 markets before the end of this year.
