Intex launches Aqua Amaze with Android 4.4 for INR 10,690

Indian smartphone vendor Intex has announced the launch of a new Android smartphone in the country. Part of the company’s Aqua-series, the new Aqua Amaze has been priced at INR 10,690 and is now available at major retail stores across the Indian market.

The smartphone sports a 5-inch 720p HD display and is powered by MediaTek’s 1.4GHz MT6592M octa-core processor. Intex Aqua Amaze also comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 2000 mAh battery. In addition, Intex has included 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front shooter, dual-SIM support, Android 4.4 and the usual set of connectivity options on the smartphone.

The phone is being released in Light Blue and Black colour variants. At the given price-tag, the phone will be competing with the likes of Asus Zenfone 5, Moto G (2^nd Gen), Moto G, Xiaomi’s Redmi 1S smartphones in the country.

Intex Aqua Style X goes on sale for INR 4,890

In related news, another Intex Android smartphone has become available in the country. Now on sale at Ebay India, the new Intex Aqua Style X phone has been priced at INR 4,890 (MRP: INR 6,890). The smartphone features a 4.5-inch qHD display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and Android 4.4.

The Aqua Style X also comes with 8MP rear camera, 2MP front shooter, dual-SIM support, 1500 mAh battery and the usual set of connectivity options.
