Verizon accidentally reveals Motorola Droid Turbo render

Advertisements

US telecom operator Verizon Wireless, which maintains Droid Landing Twitter account, earlier today accidentally tweeted (cached) an image of the still unofficial Droid Turbo smartphone. Although the tweet was quickly deleted, the phone (or at least part of it) was already out in the open.

This mishap from Verizon is our best look till date at the upcoming Motorola Droid Turbo smartphone, which is set to be exclusively released on the telco in the coming weeks. The image matches with a previously leaked back-cover of the phone. Apart from the image, the tweet did not mention anything but thanks to a benchmark listing and recently leaked user manual, we already know most of the details about the smartphone.

To remind you, Droid Turbo is expected to feature a 5.2-inch QHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 21MP rear camera with dual-LED flash. The phone will also reportedly come with 2MP front shooter, 4G LTE support and a mammoth battery of unknown side with fast charging support.

The official release date is still a mystery but we hope to hear from Verizon soon.
