HP has quietly added a new Android tablet to its portfolio in US market. A successor to the company’s previously introduced HP 10 tablet, the new HP 10 Plus has got a price-tag of $279.99 and can be grabbed from Amazon or HP store.

HP 10 Plus features a 10.1-inch 1920x1200p display, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4.2, and 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The tablet also packs 16GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot, 7700 mAh battery, and stereo speakers. In addition, the company has included 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS on the tablet.

On the software front, full suite of Google Android apps as well as HP Connected Music, HP Connected Drive, HP Connected Photo, Skype, and Box are pre-loaded on the 10 Plus.

The specifications are decent for the given price-tag, however with Asus Memo Pad FHD selling for around $200 with similar specs, HP will have a hard time finding buyers for 10 Plus.

There is no word on the release of HP 10 Plus in other market but we expect to see in India soon.
