Xiaomi Mi 3 coming back to India around Diwali

Xiaomi Mi 3There is good news for those of you, who missed out on purchasing Xiaomi’s Mi 3 smartphone in India. Xiaomi India Head Manu Kumar Jain has revealed that Mi 3, which suddenly disappeared from the Indian market, will be back in time for Diwali shopping. He was speaking at the Global Mobile Internet Conference (GMIC) in Bengaluru.

The exact date of Mi 3’s return is currently a mystery but we hope to hear from the company soon. To remind you, Xiaomi Mi 3 was originally launched in the country in July this year for INR 13,999 and was taken off the Flipkart selves in late-August. The company had sold around 1 lakh units of the phone during this period.

Xiaomi Mi 3 features a 5-inch full HD IPS display, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8274AB processor, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.4.2 based MIUI v5. The phone also packs 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, 2MP front camera, 3050 mAH battery, 3G and the usual connectivity options. You can check out our Mi 3 review here.

  2. You forgot to add that the people who attended the Xiaomi Mi 3 would be available in the carts of people who attended the GMIC as a Diwali gift said “Hugo Barra”
