“The LG G3 Beat represents our commitment to the mid-tier smartphone market that demands mature technology, proven performance, great innovation and an attractive price, all in a single device,” said Swoon Koon, MD, LG Electronics India.
Originally unveiled in July this year, LG G3 Beat is a smaller version of the LG flagship G3 and comes with mid-range specifications. The phone features a 5-inch HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, Android 4.4.2 and 2540 mAh battery. The G3 Beat also packs 8MP rear camera with laser auto-focus and LED flash as well as 1.3MP front camera.
On the software front, LG has included the usual enhancements like Smart Keyboard, Knock Code, Touch and Shoot, Gesture Shot, QuickMemo+ and more on the G3 Beat.
The price-tag is clearly on the upside and the phone will be competing with the likes of new Moto G, Asus Zenfone 5, Nexus 5 and Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphones, all of which either pack better specifications or retail at far lower prices.
