NVIDIA has announced that the pre-orders for the LTE version of its Shield Tablet are now open in the United States and European countries. The tablet will cost $399 in the US and ships September 30.

“Now you can buy the SHIELD tablet with 4G LTE capabilities for streaming movies, music, Twitch and playing your favorite multiplayer games, like War Thunder, on the go. It’s a fully unlocked device and has the capability to support 70+ carriers worldwide,” said the company in a blog post.

Originally unveiled in July this year, NVIDIA Shield Tablet is targeted to the gamers and is powered by the company’s Tegra K1 chip. Among other specifications, the LTE variant of the tablet packs 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and Android 4.4. The tablet also comes with 5MP front & rear cameras as well as front-facing stereo speakers.

According to NVIDIA, the LTE version buyers in the US, will have the option to get the tablet with two-year contract for just $299 on AT&T.

In addition, NVIDIA has revealed that several new Android games optimized for Shield Tablet will soon be available like Beach Buggy Racing, BombSquad and Broadsword.
