According to XOLO, it has developed the Hive UI by itself as it tries to differentiate in the crowded smartphone market by building an ecosystem around its offerings. Some of the highlights of the Hive UI includes theme support, Fusion X media player, brand new launcher, integrated contacts, and more.
“XOLO 8X-1000 is powered by HIVE – the software suite for the next level smartphone experience. Built on Android, HIVE offers a host of new features and enhancements that changes the way you interact with your device. It allows users to join in and become a part of the development team,” XOLO notes on its website.
Coming to the smartphone, XOLO 8X-1000 features a 1.4GHz MediaTek MT6592M octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 5-inch 720p HD display. The phone also packs 8MP rear camera, 2MP front shooter, Android 4.4, 1920 mAh battery and dual-SIM support. The company has also included 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS on the smartphone.

just the battery seems to be inefficient for this config…
I think Xolo is wasting money and time by developing the HIVE UI (if they really developed it).
Stock android is very good since Jelly bean. It has all the features and Google is updating it at a good rate. It also makes it easier to provide the future updates the handsets.
On the other hand they should have used SD400 instead of Mediatek junk (octa core or whatever).
1920mAh battery also very inadequate for a 5 inch phone.
1920mAh ?
