Micromax starts rolling out Android 4.4 for Canvas 2 Colours

Within days of beginning the Android 4.4 update roll-out for Canvas Doodle 3 smartphone, Micromax has now released the KitKat update for Canvas 2 Colours. The update is now available over-the-air (OTA) and will reach your smartphone shortly.

According to Micromax, you can simply reboot your Canvas 2 Colours to get the update and it will continue rolling out over the week. The update takes the smartphone directly from Android 4.2 Jelly Bean to Android 4.4.2.

The company has not shared an official change-log but you can expect to see the usual KitKat goodies like immersive mode, support for updated Hangouts app, cloud-print support, lock-screen improvements, performance enhancements and improved downloads app.

Micromax has also stated that it plans to release Android 4.4 KitKat update for all of its leading smartphones but did not give exact product names. We hope to get more clarity in the coming weeks.
