Within eight weeks of being launched in the Indian market, Samsung Galaxy K Zoom camera-phone has received its first price-cut, albeit only temporary.  The smartphone can now be grabbed from Amazon India, where it is exclusively available, for just INR 19,999, down from the original price of INR 29,999.

Amazon.in writes that the reduced pricing is only valid for select days but has not specified an exact date when this offer is going to end.

To remind you, originally introduced in April 2014, Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is the successor to Galaxy S4 Zoom smartphone and packs a 10x optical zoom lens with 20.7MP 1/2.3-inch image sensor and Xenon flash. The phone is powered by 1.3GHz Exynos hexa-core processor and sports a 4.8-inch 720pHD display.

The phone runs on Android 4.4.2 and packs a bunch of photo-related software enhancements.

In related news, e-retailer Flipkart is all set of release Galaxy S5 Mini in the Indian market soon. The retailer will be exclusively carrying the smartphone.
