Micromax has started rolling-out Android 4.4 KitKat update for its Canvas Doodle 3 smartphone. The update is now available over-the-air (OTA) and should be reaching your smartphone shortly.
387MB in size, the update takes the Doodle 3 smartphone directly from Android 4.2 to Android 4.4. The full change-log is not available but the update should bring the usual KitKat goodies like immersive mode, UI improvements, performance enhancements, lock-screen changes, cloud-print support, support for new Hangouts app, Downloads app redesign, and more.
If you have already updated your smartphone, do let us know about the experience in the comments sections.

Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 A102 Android Kitkat OTA update failed 5 times.
After completion of download (385 MB appx.) the device starts updating and shows an Android update animation, however without complete updation to Kitkat the device restarts in Jellybean.
Can you please decipher what could be the reason and provide a solution, if any.
Or can I conclude that Micromax simply failed to release an appropriate OTA update.
