LG’s dual-SIM L60 smartphone goes on sale for INR 7,999 in India

Another L-series III smartphone has quietly entered the Indian market.  The new LG L60, which was recently sighted on the LG Russia website, can now be grabbed from Amazon India. The phone carries a price-tag of INR 7,999, making it a slightly expensive competitor to Asus’ new Zenfone 4 A450CG and Moto E smartphones.

As LG India is yet to officially announce the launch of the phone, we can’t be certain about the pricing but it seems about right, considering the price-tags of other L-series III smartphones in the country.

For INR 8K, you will be getting a smartphone that sports a 4.3-inch WVGA display, Android 4.4, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, and dual-SIM support. The phone also includes 5MP rear camera with LED flash, VGA front shooter, and 1700 mAh battery.

In addition, LG has included 512MB of RAM, 4GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

While a smartphone of LG L60’s calibre would have been a hit last year, thanks to the plethora of choices available in the country, which is expected to increase with the launch of Xiaomi Redmi 1S in the coming weeks, we don’t see many consumers going for it.

Will you buy LG L60 for INR 7,999? Let us know in comments.

don’t the like of LG make any kind of research on the market situation before releasing these kind of overpriced product. When others are retiring similar product on the face of competition, LG makes the wise decision to bring another crap in.

Side by side comparison with L60 and Xiaomi Redmi 1S. The Redmi 1S wins every specification and its cost Rs. 2000 less than this crap L60. (Both Samsung and LG) are they sleeping.
