The date, you have been patiently waiting for, has finally been revealed. Motorola today started sending out invites to the tech press in the United States for an event on September 4.
The press invite although doesn’t state anything specifically but the icons shown in the invite are a clearly giveaway for Moto X successor, Moto G successor, Moto 360 and some sort of ear-piece. So, we will have a lot to look forward to.
As per the leaks until now, Moto X+1 is expected to come with a full HD 5.2-inch display, Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4.4, 12MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. On the other hand, Moto G successor is expected to come with 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 400, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and Android 4.4.4.
It would be interesting to see whether Motorola goes aggressive with Moto X+1 pricing like it did with the existing Moto G and E smartphones.
As always, we will bring you all the details on September 4, till then enjoy the animation from Motorola invite below.
Eagerly looking forward to Moto360, perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing wearable to be launched till date.

“The date, you have been patiently waiting for”, haha well said. btw looking at the invitation motorola may integrate some system level peripherals & services (like X) even into their G-series, if sticking to S400.
