In the first glance, the new version might look similar to the previous ones but it packs a big content listing revamp inline with the company’s new material design. The listing pages now pack a white background instead of the usual grey and the positioning of various elements on the page has also been tweaked. The promo video has been shifted to be top and now lies behind the listing title.
Google has also changed the way an app listing appears to user who has installed the particular app or not. If you have installed a particular app, Play Store shows the last change-log prominently, otherwise you will see the app description and the read more link will bring the detailed description and last change-log.
Overall, the listing pages are more colourful and use icons to highlight average ratings, category etc.
