  4. I updated my Samsung Grand 2 to KitKat and it started giving serious problems. Mainly the phone started freezing, rebooting automatically and certain third-party apps could not be installed. My efforts through factory reset etc was of no use. Samsung service center tried to re-install the OS but failed. Ultimately they changed the phone’s mother board and loaded Jelly Bean os and it is working now. The company has agreed that KitKat has many bugs and they are working on it to fixit. Till then, it is advised to all to refrain from updating their to KitKat.
