Lava Magnum X604 smartphone official, priced at INR 11,999

Lava has announced the launch of its new phablet Magnum X604 in the Indian market today. The device has been priced at INR 11,999 and is now available in the country in White and Brown colour options.

“With the launch of LAVA Magnum X604 our endeavour was to multiply consumer’s experience with its big screen size and high-performance features while being highly pocket-friendly and portable. The Magnum X604 is a perfect companion for consumers who want to stay connected and experience the best of both smartphones and tablets in one device,” said S.N Rai, Co-Founder & Director, Lava International Ltd.

The smartphone features a 6-inch HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and Android 4.4. The Magnum X604 also packs 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor, 2MP front shooter, 8GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot and 2800 mAh battery. In addition, the phone includes 3G, dual-SIM support and other usual connectivity options.

Why would Lava name a phone after a condom brand? What the massive F***!!!

For the uninitiated, Magnum is the extra large premium condom sub-brand from Trojan – America’s no 1 condom manufacturer.
