Samsung on Wednesday announced its first Android Wear smartwatch in the form of Gear Live. The device was also showcased at the Google I/O 2014 keynote speech and is now on pre-order in the United States, United Kingdom and six other countries via Google Play.

Samsung Gear Live comes with 1.63-inch Super AMOLED 320x320p display, 1.2GHz processor, Heart-rate monitor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The watch also packs Bluetooth 4.0 LE, 300 mAh battery, changeable straps and is water/ dust resistant.
Being an Android Wear smartwatch, Gear Live will come with support for Google services like Google Now, Google Voice, Google Maps & Navigation, Gmail, and Hangouts.

Pricing and availability
Samsung Gear Live has been priced at $199 (INR 15,900 in India & £169 in UK). It will start shipping July 8 in US and UK, there is no word on the release in India right now. It will be available in Black and Wine Red colour options. Samsung has also stated that it will soon be released via retail stores as well.
