Samsung Galaxy Tab S specs leaked in detail ahead of announcement

As Samsung gears up to announce the new Tab S line-up later today in London and New York, the full specifications of the Tab S 10.5 and Tab S 8.4 have appeared online.

As per @evleaks, the tablets will pack 1.9GHz Exynos 5 octa-core processor or 2.3GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor (depending on the version), WQXGA (2560×1600p) display and 3GB RAM.

The tablets will also come with 16/32GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot with support up to 128GB, 8MP rear camera and 2.1MP front camera. In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S will feature Wi-Fi support (LTE optional), Android 4.4, Bluetooth, and GPS.

Among other specifications, Tab S 10.5 will include a 7900mAh battery, while Tab S 8.4 will sport a 4900mAh battery.  Previous reports have also indicated the presence fingerprint sensor on the tablets.

Other details will become clear at today’s press event, when we also expect hear about the availability information. Pricing will most likely be revealed at the local unveiling of the tablets.
