XOLO has announced the launch of its Q1200 Android smartphone in the Indian market. The phone was recently spotted at an e-retailer at INR 14,999, however it turns out the official pricing is just INR 13,999. It is currently on pre-order and will go on sale beginning June 10.
The phone features a 5-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 3, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, Android 4.2, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. Q1200 also comes with 1GB of RAM, Wi-Fi, 3G, 2000 mAh battery, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.
On the software front, XOLO has included customisation like gesture support, voice recognition, dual-window and more. The company has also promised to provide KitKat update for the smartphone.
The phone will be competing with the likes of Moto G in the country, which although packs a better processor, falls behind the imaging capabilities of Q1200.
