Samsung is getting ready to launch its Galaxy Tab 4 line-up in the Indian market soon. We expect an official announcement next week. Originally introduced in April this year, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 series consists of 7-inch, 8-inch and 10.-inch tablets.
Although there is no word on the official pricing right now, Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom notes that the 8-inch Tab 4 3G will cost INR 23,990 in the country with an MRP of INR 27,710, while the 10.1-inch Tab 4 3G model will retail for INR 29,990 with an MRP of INR 36,640. Tab 4 7.0 pricing is still a mystery.
To remind you, Galaxy Tab 4 series tablets run on Android 4.4 and feature WXGA display resolution (1280x800p), 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 3MP rear camera, and 1.3MP front camera. The tablets also pack 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (7-inch Tab 4 has an 8GB version as well), microSD card slot, and the usual connectivity options like 3G (optional), Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
The stocks of these tablets have already started reaching retailers and we expect them to appear at e-retailers soon.
