LG’s new G3 Android smartphone, which was officially unveiled on May 27, is now on sale in the company’s home market South Korea. The smartphone has been priced 899,800 won ($880) and can be grabbed from all three major telecom operators.
South Korea is the only country, which will have access to G3 for the near future as other major markets are expected to get the phone by the end of June or early-July.
The company or retailers have revealed pricing and availability details for G3 in select markets, which you can check out below.
UK: Already on pre-order at Clove for £415.83 (£499.00 Including VAT), goes on sale starting July 11.
US: Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T will carry the phone, no word on pricing or exact release date
Australia: AU$799 (around $740), no word on availability
Singapore: S$868 (around $690) for 16GB & S$928 ($740) for 32GB, goes on sale starting June 28.
Netherlands, Germany: €549 for the 16GB, €599 for 32GB, no word on availability
Finland, Romania: €599 for 16GB, €649 for 32GB, no word on exact availability
India: No information right now but we expect the phone to arrive in July in the country for a price-tag around INR 45K
LG hopes to sell more than 10 million G3 units
In related news, LG has announced that it expects to sell more than 10 million G3 units worldwide. The company has not given a time-frame to achieve this target.
