Google launches Chromecast in Australia, Belgium, Portugal & Switzerland

chromecastWithin days of unveiling Chromecast in Japan and Korea, Google has now announced that the streaming dongle is also available in Australia, Belgium, Portugal and Switzerland. The consumers in these countries will be able to grab the device from Google Play or other retailers. The search giant has also partnered with local content providers to support Cast functionality in their apps and websites. With ever-increasing availability of Chromecast-supported apps, the device users won’t have trouble finding content to stream on their HDTVs. Also, you can always mirror your Chrome browser tabs to HDTV for checking out other content.

Nexus devices and Google Play Music All Access reach new markets

In related news, Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) are now available in Norway and Switzerland via Google Play. Also, Google Play Music All Access can be used in Denmark and Poland.

With the latest round of expansion, Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) are being sold in a total of 22 markets via Google Play and Play Music All Access is available in 28 countries.
