Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 smartphone. Available over-the-air and via Samsung Kies, the update is currently live in Germany and is expected to reach other markets in the coming weeks.

The software update carries build number XXUGNE5 and is 130MB in size. It brings features like Kids Mode and Knox 2.0 to the smartphone. Among other changes, the update includes stability improvements, better power management and more.

There is no word on when it will be released for Galaxy S4 I9500 variant but we expect it to arrive soon like all other updates.

Samsung announces Project Glued

In other Samsung news, Samsung has introduced a new video streaming service called Glued for Asia. Unveiled recently at a press event in Singapore, the service will first go live in Singapore and Philippines in Q3, 2014. There is no word on roll-out in other markets.

Details are scarce about the service but it reportedly includes UK and US TV shows, which will be available for rent per season for the users for as low as $6.50 per month. The users will also be able to view the first episode of any season for free as a sample.

We hope to hear more at the time of the actual availability of the service.
