Samsung to launch 13.3-inch Android tablet: Report

Advertisements

Looks like 12.2-inch Galaxy NotePro wasn’t enough for Samsung, the company is now reportedly working on a 13.3-inch tablet. The tablet is codenamed Warhol and will come with WQHD (2560x1600p) resolution like the recently rumoured Galaxy Tab S tablets.

Mobile news portal GSM Arena has shared a leaked internal document (see above), which lists this upcoming 13.3-inch Samsung tablet along with the Tab S slates.

Samsung “Warhol” will carry T911/T910 model numbers and is expected to pack high-end specifications with KitKat as well as Magazine UX customisations. As has been stated in the leaked document, this tablet will have an LCD rather than Super AMOLED display, probably because Samsung doesn’t have such a large AMOLED display in production.

The exact specifications of the tablet are a mystery at this point but it is said to be coming in Wi-Fi and 3G versions. We expect to hear more in the coming weeks.

To remind you, Samsung has already launched seven tablets this year and considering the leaks so far, we expect to see at least three more before the end of 2014.
