Nokia X getting new software update [v1.1.2.2 ]

Advertisements

Microsoft has started rolling out a new software update for its Nokia X Android smartphone. The update originally went live a few days ago in select countries but the expanded roll-out seems to have begun now.

Around 41MB in size, the update is available over-the-air and you will automatically get a notification on your phone once the update is available in your country. You can also go to Settings > About Phone > System updates > Check Now to manually look for the update.

As per Nokia website, the update includes Microsoft OneDrive and Contact Transfer apps, updated version of Nokia Store as well as stability and performance enhancements. The update does not change the Android version on the smartphone, which is still Android 4.1.

This is second software update for Nokia X till now. The phone has earlier received a minor software update in late-March.

If you have already updated your Nokia X, do let us know about the experience in comments.
