LG to announce G3 on May 27

After a host of leaks and the confirmation of G3 name, LG has started sending out press invites to the tech press around the world for the unveiling of the smartphone. The company is hosting simultaneous press events in San Francisco, New York, and London on May 27 to announce the G3. It will also be introducing the phone in Seoul, Singapore, and Istanbul on May 28, making it probably the biggest smartphone launch from the company in the recent years.

The company could also showcase its Android Wear-powered G Watch on the same day as the latest rumour points to the June release of this smartwatch and the late May unveiling will make sense for a product that it is going to become available soon after.

As per the reports so far, LG G3 will come with a Quad-HD display, Snapdragon quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 13/ 16MP rear camera with OIS+ and KitKat. The phone will also be featuring buttons on the back like its predecessor.

Details about the pricing and other specifications are a mystery at this moment but we should be hearing more over the coming days.
