Samsung Galaxy K camera-phone appears in leaked images

With just a week left for the official announcement of Samsung’s upcoming camera-phone Galaxy K, new live images of the smartphone have popped up online.

Posted on a Chinese forum, these live images give us another look at the smartphone, which reveals that Samsung has been able to considerably slim down the phone from the previous generation. It looks more like a phone now than a digital camera, which was the case with Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.

Samsung is holding a press event next week in Singapore, where it will be officially unveiling the Galaxy K. As per previous reports, the smartphone will come with 19MP rear camera with 10x optical zoom, 4.8-inch HD display, 2MP front camera, 2GB of RAM and hexa-core Exynos processor.

On the software front, Galaxy K will run on Android 4.4.2 with Touchwiz on top along a host of camera-specific enhancements inside.

As always, we will be bringing you all the details as and when Galaxy K becomes official.

PS: This will be the second Galaxy K smartphone from Samsung. The company had launched a Galaxy K in 2010 in the South Korean market.
