LG has revealed new information about its upcoming Android Wear powered G Watch in the official micro-site of the smartwatch. According to LG, G Watch will be always-on and feature water/ dust resistance. Always-on support is particulary interesting as it might be integrated with Google Now and always support Ok Google hotword like Moto X smartphone, however it might also impact the battery-life of the watch.
In addition, the company has stated that this Android Wear smartwatch will be released in Black and Champagne Gold colour options.
Set to go on sale around July 2014, the smartwatch is one of the many Android Wear products coming this year from various manufacturers like Motorola, Samsung, HTC and Asus.
Although LG has not revealed the official specifications of G Watch, rumours suggest that it will come with 1.65-inch IPS LCD (280x280p), 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
