Continuing the trend of releasing devices with bare minimum bezel, LG is bringing a new smartphone, which will pack probably the smallest bezel for any of the company’s smartphones. Dubbed as LG L24, the smartphone is headed to Japanese telecom operator au by KDDI.
Given the design of the leaked renders, which we are yet to see on any smartphone, there are rumours that it could be a variant of LG G3 smartphone but we doubt it. We believe that the LG L24 is a variant of LG G Pro 2 smartphone, which is yet to reach Japan and will most likely be a part of au by KDDI’s summer line-up. Au by KDDI traditionally announces its summer line-up in May, which fits well with the timing of the leak of these renders.
To remind you, LG G Pro 2 features a 5.9-inch full HD display, 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4, 3200 mAh removable battery, LTE support, 16/ 32GB of on-board storage and microSD card slot. We expect LG L24 to come with same specifications.
If LG L24 indeed turns out to be a variant of LG G Pro 2, we will probably never see the phone outside Japan.
