Oppo to bring Find 7 to India by mid-2014

Oppo Find 7Oppo has announced that it will be launching the new Find 7 smartphone in the Indian market by mid-2014. In addition to Find 7, Oppo also plans to release five more mobile devices in the country this year, which will take its portfolio to a total of ten devices. The company hasn’t specified, which other device it plans to bring to the country.

“India is emerging as the fastest growing smartphone market in the world. As such, we’re very optimistic about the growth of the OPPO brand, which is known globally for its superior technology and innovative products. The OPPO N1 marked our entry into the Indian market and our forthcoming products including the soon-to-be-launched OPPO Find 7 will enable us to replicate our global success story here,” said Tom Lu, CEO, OPPO Mobiles India.

To remind you, Oppo Find 7 is the latest flagship smartphone from the company and comes in two variants Find 7 and Find 7a. Find 7 features 5.5-inch 2560x1440p QHD display, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AC processor, Android 4.3 based Color OS 2.0, and 3GB of RAM. The phone also packs 13MP rear camera with software enhancements making it capable of shooting 50MP images, and 5MP front camera. On the other hand, Find 7a comes with 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AB processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.3-based Color OS 2.0, 13MP rear camera and 2800 mAh battery.
