Alleged change-log for Android 4.4.3 leaked online

The reports about an upcoming Android release have been going around for the last few weeks. According to reports, Google is preparing Android 4.4.3 as a bug-fixing release and it will be rolled out in the coming weeks. Now, Android Police has obtained an alleged list of changes or fixes that we should expect to see in Android 4.4.3. There is no way to confirm if this is indeed a legit list but given AP’s track record, we are inclined to believe.

Here is the list of fixes present in Android 4.4.3:

  • Frequent data connection dropout fix
  • mm-qcamera-daemon crash and optimization fixes
  • Camera focus in regular and HDR modes fixes
  • Power Manager display wakelock fix
  • Multiple Bluetooth fixes
  • Random reboot fix
  • Fix for app shortcuts getting removed from launcher after update
  • USB debugging security fix
  • App shortcuts security fix
  • Wi-Fi auto-connect fix
  • Other camera fixes
  • MMS, Email/Exchange, Calendar, People/Dialer/Contacts, DSP, IPv6, VPN fixes
  • Stuck in activation screen fix
  • Missed call LED fix
  • Subtitle fixes
  • Data usage graph fix
  • Internet telephony fix
  • FCC compliance fix
  • Miscellaneous fixes

Android 4.4.3 is expected to be released for all Nexus devices from the current lot like Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus 10.

In related news, Myce.com has uncovered the Android 4.4.3 build number, which might arrive on Nexus devices – KTU83.

  1. Battery runtime on single charge is not matching up to the reviews of Moto X that ran on versions pre 4.4.2. Hopefully this gets addressed through the update.

  2. without root access or memory card access kitkat is useless for me .. its like buying china phone .. its time now to better try with windows as Androids increasing security has put a big question on utilizing of android phones specially samsung devices with lock bootloaders. in the name of security samsung is tying hand of developers and imposing more of there useless apps..
