HTC India has revealed that the newly announced HTC One (M8) smartphone will reach the country in third-week of April. It is quite a long wait considering the phone is going on sale in select countries today and will reach more by the first week of next month.
HTC has not revealed the pricing of the phone for the Indian market but if the past trend is any indication, we are expecting a price-tag closer to INR 45,000, however we hope that HTC India comes to its senses and keep the pricing under INR 40K, else I don’t see the phone getting any traction in the country.
According to the company, HTC One (M8) will be available in Gunmetal Gray and Glacial Silver colours at release, while the Amber Gold version might take sometime.
To remind you, HTC One (M8) features a 5-inch FHD Super LCD 3 screen, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, KitKat and Sense 6.0. The phone also comes with dual rear cameras, 5MP front camera, 2600 mAh battery, 16/ 32GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.
The phone will be competing with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S5, Nexus 5, Sony Xperia Z2 and other smartphones when it reaches Indian shores.
Asian markets will get 2.5 Ghz version..:)

Knowing HTC and their pricing history, this one is going to be upwards of 45k. I would be pleasantly surprised if it is below 45k let alone 40k
