XOLO has listed a new Android smartphone on its official website. Dubbed as A510s, the phone comes with metal finish and is expected to be available soon. According to XOLO.in, the phone will retail for INR 7,499.

Coming to the specifications, this entry-level smartphone features 4-inch FWVGA display, 1.3GHz MediaTek 6572 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The phone also packs microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, Android 4.2, 1400 mAh battery, 3G and the usual set of connectivity options.

The specifications are decent for the given price-tag but it is high time for Android manufacturers to stop releasing smartphones with Android 4.2 or 4.1 and shift their focus to Android 4.4 KitKat, which will provide a far better performance on a device with such specifications than Jelly Bean.

We are expecting an official announcement about the availability details early-next week. It will join XOLO’s other A-series smartphones like A500 Club, A500s IPS, A500L, A500 and A600, all of which, like A510s, are budget devices.
