LG isn’t the only manufacturer announcing an Android Wear powered smartwatch today, Motorola has also introduced the new Moto 360. Circular in shape unlike most smartatches, Moto 360 will be available this summer around the world, starting with the United States.
According to Motorola, it will be releasing Moto 360 in variety of styles, so you don’t have to worry about the typical smartwatch design or looks.
“The wristwatch has been through several evolutions since it first became a popular fashion accessory more than a 100 years ago. From mechanical to electronic movements, analog to digital faces, the wristwatch has been reinvented several times over, but the basic design has endured for a century because of its elegance and usefulness ‘at a glance.’ Our vision for Moto 360 was to celebrate that history as we reimagined the wristwatch for the future,” Motorola noted in a blog post.
Moto 360 comes with the usual Android Wear features like Google Now integration, voice actions and rich notifications support. More details are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
