Google brings Play Movies and Play Music stores to new countries

Google has expanded the availability of Play Movies and Play Music content stores to new markets. With the latest expansion, Google Play Movies is now available in a total of 63 countries including the 36 new ones, which got the support on Monday. On the other hand, Google Play Music is now live in 25 countries including four new countries, where All Access service has also been launched.

Here is the list of countries, which have got the Play Music and Play Movies on Monday:

Google Play Music: Greece, Norway, Slovakia and Sweden

Google Play Movies: Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, Gabon, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Ivory Coast, Luxembourg, Mali, Mauritius, Namibia, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Niger, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Rwanda, Senegal, Sweden, Togo, Uruguay, Venezuela and Zambia

This is the biggest content services expansion in the recent times by Google.

Google Play Gift Cards coming to Hong Kong soon

In related news, Google has updated its availability for gift cards webpage to reflect that it is bringing Google Play Gift cards to Hong Kong soon. The page reveals that the Play Gift Cards will be available in HK$200, HK$500, and HK$1000 denominations.

There is no word on the exact date of the launch, which will make Hong Kong the eighth market to get Google Play Gift Cards.
