The smartphone features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.2.2 and dual-SIM support. The phone also comes with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camerta.
In addition, HTC has included 2000 mAh battery and the usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth on Desire 310w.
HTC is expected to announce a global variant of the phone with Desire 310 moniker in the coming weeks. There is no word on the pricing of the phone at this moment.

Nice going, HTC. 512 MB RAM in 2014 for something that will surely cost more than $100? The MT6582M SoC is decent enough for the price, but what the heck am I going to do with a quad core processor with only 512 MB RAM? The 4GB storage was bad enough, but the 512 MB RAM takes the cake. And I’m not even going to mention the Android version here!!! WTF HTC?
The cheapest and smallest memory modules (ROM and mobile DRAM) cost about $5 comprising 256MB ROM and 256MB of mobile DRAM. The 512MB/4GB varieties couldn’t cost much more than 10-15, I don’t think. Why would you want to put that cheap cr@p in a $200+ phone, especially when all major manufacturers have started providing 1Gb RAM at anything above $100?
Whoever is engineering these phones at HTC needs to be fired ASAP. Otherwise, you don’t need to be a genius to figure out that they’ll continue making losses in the foreseeable future because no semi-knowledgeable buyer is touching overpriced contraptions like this one with a bargepole.
