Google’s Sundar Pichai did share in a Google+ post that Google is making some changes to registration process this year, so that developers don’t flood Google’s servers the second registration opens.
“We’ll be implementing a new system, where you can submit your interest to attend Google I/O 2014. Successful applicants will then be randomly selected and notified shortly thereafter,” Pichai noted.
To remind you, Google normally reveals a new Android version at I/O, new hardware and shares details on new developments in Chrome OS, Google+, Google TV and more. At last year’s I/O, Google unveiled Google Play Music All Access, Chromebook Pixel, Chromecast as well as showcased the new Google Maps.
We expect to see new Chromecast device, new Nexus tablets, Google Glass developments, probably a minor release of Android and more this year.
