Google told TNW that it is planning to the release the Chromecast but stated that it is a provisional date and might be changed.
If Chromecast indeed goes on sale beginning March 1 in UK, it will become the first market after US to get this device, which was originally launched at last year’s Google I/O event. To remind you, Chromecast allows consumers to stream web-content from their Android/ iOS device or Chrome desktop browser to their HDTV.
There is no word on the pricing of Chromecast in UK but it is likely to retail around GBP 30-35. It is also not sure whether Google will sells Chromecast via other retailers or on Google Play like in US.
