Looks like the recent rumours about the February debut of Galaxy S5 were true. Samsung has announced earlier today that it is organising the Unpacked 5 event on February 24 in Barcelona. This is the Episode one of the event, where the company normally unveils their Galaxy S-series flagship model, which is going to be Galaxy S5 this year. Also, the “5” in Unpacked 5 is also a pretty big hint in its own.
The event is scheduled for 20:00 CET (00:30 IST Feb 25) and will streamed live on YouTube. As always, we will be bringing you all the details.

What do we know about Galaxy S5?
Coming to Galaxy S5 and the rumours so far, according to rumours, Samsung is including a QHD (2560x1440p) display, new Exynos processor (3G variant)/ Snapdragon 805 (LTE variant), 16MP rear camera and Android 4.4 in Galaxy S5. In addition, the smartphone is reportedly going to pack a 2900 mAh battery with rapid charging support.
As you can see, the phone is going to be a hardware-beast but we can’t be fully certain about these specs until the official announcement.
On the software front, along with KitKat, Samsung is also opting for a new version of TouchWiz user-interface with a new design and flatter look. Some recent Samsung app UI leaks have confirmed this. The company might also unveil a Google-Now like information hub, which will be present on one home-screen of the revamped TouchWiz.
