LG’s curved-screen G Flex Android smartphone is now available in the Indian market. The phone is retailing in the country at an MRP of INR 69,999, however the best buy price varies from retailer to retailer, so if you are planning to get this smartphone, look for the best deal you can get.
Originally introduced in October 2013, LG G Flex is world’s second curved-display phone and sports a plastic-OLED screen, which is curved vertically unlike Samsung’s Galaxy Round. G Flex is the only curved screen phone to get a broad international availability.
The phone features a 6-inch display and is powered by 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor. It runs on Android 4.2.2 and packs NFC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 13MP rear camera and microSD card slot.
The curved display isn’t the only interesting addition in the phone, the G Flex also includes self-healing back-cover, which is made of a special material. According to LG, the back cover can automatically fix the accidental scratches and occasional blemishes. This is something, we would love to see in more smartphones.
