LG G Flex to be priced at INR 66,900 in India, available next week

LG G FlexWhen LG India originally announced G Flex for the Indian market in December 2013, the company had not revealed the pricing of the smartphone but as we head closer to availability, mystery is finally over.

According to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, LG G Flex has been priced at INR 69,990 (MRP) and will sell for a best buy price for INR 66,900. The first stocks of the phone are supposed to arrive in the next couple of days, so we can expect availability next week.

This is in line with LG’s earlier announced availability of February 2014. Given the high-pricing, we don’t see many consumers opting for the phone, it will remain a niche device and will only attract select few, who want to be the first consumers to get their hands on a smartphone with curved display.

To remind you, LG G Flex runs on Android 4.2.2 and comes with 6.0-inch HD Plastic-OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 3500 mAh battery. In addition, the phone packs 32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 13MP rear camera and 2.1MP front camera.

  1. Come on LG, bring a phone to India for Rs1 Lakh fast, as that is the need of the hour… Keep on increasing the prices phone cos, there is no sense in researching who is going to buy them…

Anybody want a banana phone for 67k???

  2. They should have priced it at 99K. In India one who wants to buy a phone at 67K can easily buy a phone for 99K. At-least in that way they will help themselves by increasing the profit margin.
